Daniel Gonzalez is a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, from Cleveland, Ohio. As a pre-med student, Dan intends to double major in the Biological Basis of Behavior (BBB) and Health and Societies (HSOC). In his freshman Spring, Dan joined Kite and Key because he really enjoys sharing his Penn experience with others and wants to cater to other First Generation and Low-Income (FGLI) students considering Penn. Apart from Kite and Key, Dan is an active member of Penn First, a FGLI student support group on campus, as well as Black Men United. He also spends his time attending study hours with Grupo Quisqueyano. Additionally, Dan tutors at West Philadelphia High School through the Netter Center's programs Moelis Access Science and GEAR UP. When Dan isn't in class, extracurriculars, or work, he enjoys writing reflective pieces, drawing, and taking pictures.
