Q: I’m a current Penn student. How do I join Kite and Key?

A: Applications are accepted at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters. You must apply during our formal application period. Should you have questions regarding a specific Kite and Key program, please contact that Program Coordinator via email.

Q: What is Kite and Key looking for in its admissions volunteers?

A: Successful applicants are enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing. We are not looking to see if you've memorized every fact just yet, but we are looking to see if you present yourself well and can convince students to come to Penn.

Q: Are Kite and Key tour guides paid?

A: No, all members of the Kite and Key Society are volunteers!

Q: How can I join the Kite and Key Executive Board?

A: Applications for the Executive Board are released to current society members in December of each year.

Q: I’m a prospective student. I have a 3.8 GPA and got a 2250 on the SATs. I am also Yearbook Editor and built houses in the Dominican Republic last summer. What are my chances of getting in?

A: As Kite and Key Society volunteers, we can’t answer specific questions about your personal Penn applications.

Q: I’m a prospective student and want to visit Penn. Where do I sign up?

A: Check out the Admissions Office page here: http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/visit

Q: I’m a prospective student and would like to hear more student insights. Where can I go?

A: Our friends at the Admissions Office have a blog. Some schools, like Nursing and Wharton, also have specific admissions blogs featuring their students.
